Emily Meek

Throughout my two years in the MA program, the Institute for Korean Studies at IU has offered me an excellent education in Korea’s history, culture, and language. From engaging courses and wonderful professors to fun events like holiday celebrations and movie screenings, IKS has facilitated an incredible program and community. Because of IKS, I was given the opportunity to excel in my graduate studies as I pursued my interest in the history of modern Korea. Now, as a recent graduate of the program, I’m prepared and excited to further my education and career in the study of Korea.
