We participate in the Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) e-School consortium, part of the Korea Foundations’ global e-school initiative. This initiative leverages the existing distance learning framework of the Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) to establish a program of high quality instruction in Korean Studies.
Each course is taught as a cluster composed of a host campus, where the course is being physically taught, and home campuses, where the classroom exists virtually. The variety of courses offered in any given year will be based on the existing courses offered by the BTAA partner universities.
The BTAA e-School consortium aims to lead in the development of Korean Studies and make the Midwest a new magnet for scholarship on Korea.
You can learn more about the BTAA e-School initiative on the University of Michigan’s Nam Center for Korean Studies’ website.
